We're living in crazy times when a woman whose only crime is tax evasion, can actually lose her child simply because her ex-husband, the child's father, is married to a powerful Hollywood actress, and because the mother is Janine, a porn star.

Sandra Bullock lured Jesse James away from his 7-month pregnant wife, Janine, but because Janine is in the adult industry, no one seemed to be disgusted by the "other woman" who swooped in to break apart a family with a child on the way. Nope, that seemed totally cool in the media's eyes.

Now, without any evidence whatsoever, Janine is being accused of doing drugs and exposing her child to porn, etc. Janine has made it clear that she's been drug-free for ten years and counting. Her daughter Sunny, whom Janine raised completely by herself for the first three years, is five years old. In fact, surprisingly little is mentioned about Jesse James' penchant for riding around with Hell's Angels motorcycle gangs as well as his death-defying TV stunts for media attention.

Of course, Sandra Bullock, who is forty-five years old and probably can't conceive kids of her own, doesn't stand anything to gain from getting custody of her husband's and Janine's child, right?

Last summer, we reported that Janine James pleaded guilty to tax evasion. She was fined and sentenced to six months in prison, followed by 6 months probation for $300,000 in unpaid back taxes.

Today it was reported that Janine has been let out 2 months early, presumably for good behavior. She is now in a halfway house serving out the remainder of her sentence. Despite some prejudiced comments by the judge who told Janine not to go "pimping herself" out to pay back taxes, Ms. James has been running her own site documenting her prison experience, thanks to long time friend and Penthouse photographer, Earl Miller.

We reported that Janine was in trouble with the IRS in July. Well, according to MSNBC Janine has pleaded guilty for failure to pay thousands in taxes. She faces fines and possible jail time.

Janine Lindemulder, ex-wife of motorcycle fabricator-turned TV celebrity, Jesse James, is being charged with not paying her income taxes under the married name of 'Janine Marie James'. The IRS claims Janine owes $79,136 on her 2004 taxable income of $350,101, which was due April 15th, 2005. Oopsy. Four days ago she waived her right to trial by a district judge in order to go before a magistrate judge, scheduled for September 16th.
