Briana Banks has been a porn star for nearly a decade, with the most recent half of her adult career under contract with Vivid. Now, the leggy performer who has taken several hiatuses to battle substance abuse, is taking the bold leap of running her own production company.

Briana Banks Entertainment is set to launch at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January of 2009. The company's first release, which will go on sale later this month, is a big budget gonzo production starring Briana Banks herself. On Halloween, Banks talked with David Sullivan of AVN about her company's first production:

I've put together a great team to back me, and we've been working really hard for about a month and a half getting ready to shoot. I don't want to give away too much, but I can say that my fans will not be let down. It will be a little more hardcore, but still pretty. The first movie is more of a high-class gonzo -- it's not going to be a cheap $10,000 production. We hope to do some high-budget features; we will mix it up to give all the fans what they want.

After a two year hiatus from the adult film industry, Briana Banks is making her 2008 debut in B. Skow's latest film, Touch Me. We're glad she's back and looking healthy.

According to Vivid Sales Manager, David Peskin, this will be the contract starlet's first Blu-Ray title. Briana Banks performs in scenes with Erik Everhard, Lee Stone and Nadia Styles. In addition to all the Briana scenes, the disc includes a behind-the-scenes featurette, which will certainly please fans of the seriously leggy blonde.
