I read an interesting article on College Humor about comedic writer, Mindy Raf's, experience accidentally farting during a make-out session. She was a deer-in-headlights when it occurred as poor Mindy was only 17 at the time and not experienced when facing such dilemmas. Her date ended up driving her home and not saying a word to her the whole way. She never heard from him again, so to help anyone else faced with a similarly embarrassing predicament, Mindy has written a very funny article that reads like a "how to" for the gassy, That Was Me. Sorry. Keep Going! Don't Stop!.
In case you don't feel like reading through the whole article (and I'm not judging, life is too short), I present some of the highlights:
Make it Emotional
Say “sorry” and then sheepishly avert your eyes. Then make direct eye contact, slightly smile and say, “it’s just that I feel so close to you, so comfortable around you, like I could do anything.”
The 'emotional diversion' is my personal favorite, but it probably won't work on a first date. I suspect the diversion approach may work a little better:

Do you ever worry that your significant other - or worse - your parents, will find that secret porn stash on your computer? Well Jeff Rosenburg from CollegeHumour has an ingenious way to hide his porn (pictured).
How do YOU make sure your porn collection isn't seen by prying eyes? Do you use a goofy naming convention? What about encryption? Password protection? Steganography? Maybe you don't store any porn on your pc, but instead burn it all to cd and dvd.
But then how do you hide your physical collection? Under the bed? In a safe? A locked storage chest? Changing labels on media can have disastrous results. Don't swap a Lion King cover for your Hairy Hirsutes in Heat dvd.
Before I had unlimited access to porn on the internet I used to hide some old magazines in a green folder underneath a desk drawer. I thought it was actually a pretty good hiding spot. You had to completely remove the bottom drawer of an old desk I had in order to get to it. There really was no way to "accidentally" find it. I mean, why would someone be pulling the drawers completely out of my desk? As I got older I moved to a locked storage trunk. Sure, people probably knew something was in there that I didn't want them to see, but they weren't getting in anyhow. And besides, I could no longer fit my collection underneath a single drawer.

Posters wanted! (Lurkers invited too)
Did you know we have a forums section that is now 4 years old? What better way to talk to like-minded individuals like yourself seeking free discussion of everything and anything - from adult films to sports to politics and news. It's also a great way to find that first movie you saw, get help identifying that performer you watched in an online clip, or help others identify movies from scenes.

Since I'll be posting here, a lot, I thought maybe a little about me can help get things started. I'm the brains of this operation. Well, okay no, not really. But I do get to do fun stuff like read your e-mails, interview performers, write reviews, add thousands of sexy images and serve as the communications link between us and the world. I probably know more about porn than most men thanks to the plethora of information and free stuff I get from studios, directors, performers, vendors and of course, the fans.
Being a straight woman, I'm a fan of performers such as Julian and French porn star, Jean Val Jean. That's not to say I don't enjoy the female talent in the adult industry though -- I can definitely appreciate the curves of the superior gender. But IMO the industry continues to focus on almost strictly the female talent; would it hurt them to take one good face shot of the male performers in each film? As more and more women watch porn, thanks to a lot of social changes that are destigmatizing adult entertainment and sex in general, the demand for attractive men continues to grow. I believe I read an article that claimed 40% of Digital Playground's customers are now female. I know we have quite a few female visitors, I've spoken to some myself.
