 Tera's people just sent us a Tera Patrick career update. The busty brunette is scheduled to host a new original series on Playboy TV: School of Sex, the erotic series offering viewers sex advice, will premier September 2008. Additionally, Tera is the host of Playboy Radio's Rock Star, Porn Star, a new weekly show that pairs Tera with rock stars for some "outrageous interviews" per the press release. Rock Star, Porn Star began airing on Tuesday June 10th, 9 PM PT on SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Channel 198).
Here's what Tera had to say about her upcoming Playboy TV show:
I am thrilled to be back working with Playboy TV to host this new series. School of Sex is a hot and informative show where I get to share sex secrets with viewers from swinger etiquette to intimate details on how to please your partner. Playboy TV played a huge role in helping me cross over to a mainstream audience and I look forward to continued success with them.
By "thrilled to be back" - as most Tera fans know - she is referring to the popular call-in show, Night Calls 411, a spinoff of the Playboy TV hit Night Calls with host Juli Ashton. Tera got her start on the newly revamped program in 2000 as the "Net Nympho", who read e-mails and bantered with the hosts while disrobing. Patrick returned as co-host in June 2001 when former host Flower was pregnant, and continued to host Night Calls 411 until February 2003.
No stranger to hanging out with rock legends, as her steamy photo shoot with Sebastian's wife on Supergroup indicates, Tera has this to say of her newly launched radio show, Rock Star, Porn Star:
As a frequent guest on Playboy Radio, I’ve always wanted to do my own show. Evan [Seinfeld] and I will be calling all of our celebrity friends to share some of their wildest stories with Playboy Radio listeners. And we promise to uncover the big secret about why rock stars always date porn stars.
Now granted, I'm just a mere mortal, but I may have an idea why rock stars would prefer porn stars. Let's see, could it be their hot bodies with giant enhanced hooters and a willingness to have wild, uninhibited sex with just about anyone, anywhere?
Rock Star, Porn Star is also scheduled to feature Dave Navarro, Mat Sorum, Margaret Cho, Kat Von D, Jenna Haze, Shy Love, Brooke Haven and Kayla Paige. Margaret Cho seems like the odd one out, but she does do a wicked impression of her mum. The topics will range from celebrity sex and rock star groupies to social commentary and politics. But personally, I just want to hear about the fan fucking.
