 Various web sites claim that Tamara Lee was HIV positive and that she died from AIDS on February 3rd, 2005. Recently, someone sent me a note with a link to an image gallery showing an older woman who looks very much like a more mature version of Tamara Lee(?). The lucky stud she is blowing and tit-screwing is Dino Bravo, who started as an adult performer in 2001 -- six years after Tamara's last film credit. The gallery is claiming she's 42 years old. Tamara Lee would be 38 years old if she was indeed born in 1969 as online sources claim. However, it is not unusual for an adult performer to lie about her age to the public to appear younger, or perhaps the web site just makes up an age they think will appeal to the MILF viewer? The site does name her as "Tamara," but there is no reference to Tamara Lee.
It is also possible those images were taken more than a couple years ago, before her possible death occurred. Is it possible Tamara Lee did a hardcore gallery photo shoot only a year or two before dying from a debilitating auto-immune disease? The Tamara in the pictures does not appear to be afflicted with serious illness and why is there no obituary or any other reputable news source documenting her "death"? Is this a rumour, and if so, what is the source? Is this gallery proof that she is still alive and very much a part of the adult industry or has she truly passed on?

Tamara Lee died February 3rd 2005 in Whittier, California. It has been reported that she died from HIV that turned into full blown AIDS. Surprisingly, she didn't catch HIV from her years as an adult actress and was out of the business for about 6 years when she was initially infected. A friend of the family states that she contracted HIV in 1998 from an ex-boyfriend who supposedly was a heroin addict.
To get some answers, I have contacted the registered administrator for the 'Tamara and Dino' gallery site and perhaps we will have some follow-up. There is so much we don't know about Tamara Lee. Where was she from? Why did she do so few films - less than a hundred in her six year adult career - despite her popularity? Did she leave the industry still very young because of HIV? And where is she now? ...
