This being my first Digital Playground (DP) film, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. From adding numerous DP film stills, I knew the women would be gorgeous and the sets meticulous with good lighting and sexy costuming. However, since Pirates 2 - Stagnetti's Revenge is a high-budget feature, I was expecting more Daniel Steele-type sex. Instead, Joone captures a lot of fast-paced fucking and sucking to please even the most jaded hedonist in us. The film itself, is far from gonzo with sword-fighting, a sex slave auction, water beasts, skeleton pirates and all kinds of blockbuster filler, including some clever dialog. The sex action is well-woven into the main plot line, with 10 hardcore sex scenes, including an impressive orgy scene, plus an eleventh full-length bonus scene on disc 2.
I am surprised at how well the sex scenes flow with the main story line. The downside of all that sex on one feature film is, that in order to include so much action, the scenes themselves are chopped up a lot in the feature. If you are watching to jack off, put in Disc 2: the extended sex scenes disc -- you will not be disappointed! As a woman, I would have liked to see more kissing and cuddling, but though the sex includes facials, anal and lots of hardcore fucking, there is also analingus, pussy-licking and definitely more kissing than one would find in even a typical feature.
Though I enjoyed all the sex scenes immensely, for the sake of brevity, I have chosen five for a more detailed look. Rather than individually dissecting every scene, I list each scene by performer with some quick thoughts below. I then go into detail on my top five picks, which have asterisks below as well.

3) The scene between Jesse Jane (Commander Jules Steel) and Belladonna (Stagnetti's former pirate, Olivia) is perhaps one of the most aggressive g/g scenes I've seen to date. The scene starts with verbal and physical fighting between “Jules” and “Olivia.” Belladonna throws Jesse Jane on the bed and the girls choke each other with their bare hands. Jesse and Belladonna proceed to throw each other around like rag dolls. There is a lot of pent-up aggression being unleashed between the two performers. The girls angrily rub their vaginas together in cowgirl style scissoring. Jesse Jane gets her ass fingered by Belladonna. Jesse then returns the favor by fingering Bella's ass with four digits. There are no toys, no lube. There is a lot of spitting, face slapping and ass slapping. Belladonna is loving it as she screams, ”Harder, Harder, HARDER!” in response to Jesse's open palm finding its way onto Belladonna's quivering ass.
4) The orgy scene takes place in a golden harem on a lawless pirate island. Evan Stone watches as four pairs of lovers, frantically fuck to their master's orders. There's a g/g with Abbey Brooks and Veronica Rayne, and three b/g pairs (listed above). Probably true to the time period of the film (the 1760's), there are no sex toys and even if there were condoms used, I did not notice any. The couple that stands out is definitely Stoya and Charles Dera. They're both insanely photogenic. Stoya's limber performance and sparkling, eager eyes leave me wanting to see more of this pale, creature. I feel myself drawn in, forgetting I am watching porn. Alas, Stoya and Charles only manage to capture a fraction of the camera time as there are three other couples. The downside to this scene is the performance between Shyla Stylez and Manuel Ferrara. I could tell that the gorgeous Manuel is very much digging Shyla, but she doesn't quite seem to be enjoying herself. They are performing anal in various positions, but Shyla is not smiling at all. At the end as Manuel comes in her mouth, she appears to hate it and even gags a little. This is the second movie I've seen with an unhappy Shyla. Perhaps it's time for a career change. One notable is the gorgeous bare-breasted slave, Brea Lynn, who brings the master and his guest, Evan, some grapes. Brea Lynn does not partake in the orgy, but those breasts remind me a lot of a young Tera Patrick.
5) Jenna Haze is Parisian sex slave, Anna, who Captain Reynolds (Evan Stone) purchases on a competitive auction whim in a funny scene. Anna will do anything to please her new master. Mid-way through the scene she offers up her little asshole to the good captain. He literary does a double-take and questions the seriousness of the offer, to which Jenna obliges by spreading her cheeks. Butt sex ensues in various positions, including a clean-off BJ between scenes. Jenna Haze looks good (understatement), she's limber and vocal, and Evan is definitely enjoying himself in this scene. The action flows nicely and the dialog during sex is funny, refreshing, and pertinent to the plot: A testament to Joone's keen scripting.
8) The most evil sex I've seen on film occurs between Katsuni, who is the wicked Chinese Empress XiFang; a recently resurrected notorious pirate captain, Victor Stagnetti (Tommy Gunn); and a mind-controlled, ridiculously hot pirate-hunter, Jules Steel (Jesse Jane). Stagnetti's been dead and buried deep under the sea for some time, so he's looking for some hot flesh to satisfy his wanton tastes. The beautiful empress Katsuni brings him a full-breasted, pouty-lipped gift that will do anything to please (Jesse), in part thanks to some zombifying squid juice. The scene involves both girls being constantly engaged with each other or Tommy. While Tommy fucks one, he eats out the other. The scene includes Tommy taking Katsuni's ass (no surprise there), but Jesse masturbates furiously, fingering her own ass and choking herself like a possessed sex fiend. This works well with the plot. Tommy pulls his giant member out of Katsuni's ass, Jesse cleans it up and spits the cum into Katsuni's mouth and they kiss a little. Jesse polishes off Tommy's nob and Katsuni licks her fingers clean. From start to finish, this scene is flawless in execution and unbelievably compelling.
10) Belladonna really, really enjoys being dominated, and Sasha Grey is perfect in the dominant girl role. Nowhere is this best exemplified than in the two women's scene with Evan Stone, who plays the vain Captain Reynolds. This is more of a power fuck between the two women than a typical threesome. In the plot, the women are trying to convince the good captain to take a little detour to Shibalba, and in addition to stroking his ego, stroking his dick is the strong argument the pirate chicks successfully make for their case. Belladonna and Sasha really feel comfortable in their respective roles, as not only does Sasha dominate Bella, but Bella and Sasha dominate the action. Evan hangs from the trellis of the bed frame as they take turns deepthroating his member. The orgasm he has at the end of the scene is intense. The women lap up the cum from his belly, really savoring his juices. This is one of the hottest threesomes involving genuine, no frills power play.
Some Final Thoughts...
Shay Jordan who isn't even on the cover, is in three of the ten main sex scenes. I didn't pick any of her scenes, but they were very well executed. As far as overall sex scenes, I would have liked to see more of Brianna Love, Stoya and Sasha Grey. These three lovelies just glowed onscreen and delivered their lines with flawless timing and force. Stoya technically doesn't have any lines, but her eyes are so expressive I sometimes forget she's not saying anything. Brianna Love reminds me of a young Kate Winslet. I should add that my favorite barbie doll, Jesse Jane, does a good job acting, and her sex scenes are fiery as usual. She has a cute personality as evidenced in the bloopers.
I highly recommend Pirates 2 - Stagnetti's Revenge. With a total of 11 pirate-themed sex scenes and a cost of approximately $55 for the DVD set, that comes to about $5/scene. That's a bargain considering you also get special features, extensive behind the scenes, the making of, the Pirates 1 release party footage, bloopers and more, on this very well-done, advertising-free 4-disc DVD set.
