Janine is Out of the Big House and in a Halfway Home

Last summer, we reported that Janine James pleaded guilty to tax evasion. She was fined and sentenced to six months in prison, followed by 6 months probation for $300,000 in unpaid back taxes.
Today it was reported that Janine has been let out 2 months early, presumably for good behavior. She is now in a halfway house serving out the remainder of her sentence. Despite some prejudiced comments by the judge who told Janine not to go "pimping herself" out to pay back taxes, Ms. James has been running her own site documenting her prison experience, thanks to long time friend and Penthouse photographer, Earl Miller.
FreeJanine.com is a collection of vintage Janine photo sets as well as some recent stuff done shortly before her incarceration. It also features a blog she's been updating through letters whilst in prison. Earl Miller, Janine's good friend who helped create the site, had this to say of the sentencing:
Tim Geitner, the new treasury secretary, evaded income taxes around the same time Janine did and his punishment was to apologize and become head of the IRS. Double standard?
Though Geitner "only" owed about $43,200 in back taxes, it's obvious that if Janine James was friends with the president, she also wouldn't have served a single day in jail. Porn stars get no love.
