 Hustler is changing business hours for all of its main LFP, Inc office staff from a five day workweek to an Alternative Workweek Schedule. The Flynt Productions office located on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California will be giving employees a three-day weekend every other Friday by simply tacking on an additional 50 minutes each work day. This means one less day of commuting/polluting and more time to spend enjoying one's non-work life. It's a win win situation for employees, the environment, and even Hustler, as this move will also reduce operating costs for the Adult Industry giant. President of LFP, Inc, Michael H. Klein, had this to say of the new schedule that went into effect this week:
With gas prices soaring and many of our employees traveling long distances to get to work, we thought that it would be a great idea to offer our employees an Alternative Workweek Schedule. Not only will it cut down the costs of travel for employees, who in essence will have an additional month off per year when you add up all the Fridays that they don’t have to work, but it will also reduce operating costs at the 8484 Wilshire Boulevard building.
Business hours at the Wilshire LFP Building are now Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:50 PM effective August 11th, 2008, with Friday August 15th, 2008 marking the first Friday off. If only more businesses would give employees that coveted extra day for family excursions and much needed r&r, but ironically, most companies are not as "family friendly" as Hustler's main office.
