One of my all-time favorite directors, Quentin Tarantino, is seriously considering courting one of my favorite porn stars, Tera Patrick, for a starring role in his remake of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. Here's the low-down from Page Six: "Quentin loves her, and she's a dead ringer for original star Tura Satana," said our source. Patrick gushes over the Russ Meyer 1966 cult film about three women on a violent desert road trip. "It would be the hottest remake ever, and I'm honored to be considered," she told Page Six. "I was built for this part." Gushes! Nice choice of words. Patrick would be playing "Varla" -- immortalized by half-Japanese-American bombshell, Tura Satana, who was also a stripper and burlesque dancer (at just 13 years old in 1940's Japan)! So let us do a checklist of what these two performers have in common: Half-Asian. Check

Discovered at 13. Check (Tera was signed to a modeling contract at 13)

Business savvy. Check On that last part, Tura legally owns her likeness and image. This means whenever director Russ Meyer wants to change the artwork or re-release the project for Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, he has to first get her permission and sometimes pay her all over again.
Given the similarities between Tera Patrick and Tura Satana it would be a real shame if Tera doesn't nab the role of "Varla" in Tarantino's upcoming remake of Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!!
