Former porn star, Jean Val Jean, performed in over 200 adult films between 2004 and February of 2009. His last two films appear to be Milf Club 2 and Jizz Wiz.

Since then, the talented Delcour has been building a steady acting resume of mainstream film and TV work as well as video game voiceover work, and even modeling underwear for Calvin Klein (picture proof at end of article). Emmanuel Delcour/Jean Val Jean, has been an actor by day and porn star by night for two overlapping years between 2007 and early 2009. How deliciously naughty!
Delcour's dirty little secret came out during his recent run as a contestant on Bravo's Chef Academy, drawing much mainstream publicity. His response when asked about his prolific porn past?

There's still a great deal of mainstream prejudice when it comes to adult performers. Few are able to transition their careers successfully from San Fernando to Hollywood. Crossovers can occur as in the case of Tracy Lords and Ron Jeremy. To succeed in the transition, Tracy Lords had to turn her back to the adult industry completely, following the scandal of performing underage with falsely obtained (real) Hawaiian State Identifications that brought her fifteen minutes of fame. In contrast, Ron Jeremy's success stems from being a hard-working parody of himself, not hiding who he is -- a prolific and legendary performer whose career has spanned four decades now.
The precedent for mainstream acting work isn't the greatest for those with a history in hardcore porn. Only time will tell if Emmanuel, our Jean Val Jean, will break through the entertainment crossover taboo, and whether he'll be able to reconcile his adult past with a potential mainstream future. But, one thing is sure -- so long as he doesn't disparage the adult industry, we'll be rooting for him all the way to the box office!
