Performer Jack Venice has been in over 100 adult films since he entered the adult industry in 2004. His career, however, is coming to a screeching halt as Venice, born Christopher Jack Reid on February 25th, 1982, has been convicted of second-degree rape, first-degree burglary, and two counts of residential burglary.
According to court documents, Reid (Jack Venice) and Kyle M. Schott, a 24-year-old former Washington State University (WSU) student, got drunk at a local bar in Pullman, then broke into several sororities on the WSU campus on the evening of September 12th, 2007. At one of the sororities, Kappa Alpha Theta, Reid raped a sleeping college student who positively identified him.
Schott, who is currently serving a 13 month sentence for third-degree rape and second-degree burglary, testified against Reid as part of a plea-bargaining deal. Despite Reid's claims that a third man was involved, and that he did not in fact penetrate the victim, Schott testified that only Reid and himself were present during the rape. Schott also testified that Reid had bragged that evening about being able to sleep with any woman he wants. Though a condom wrapper was found at the scene, the DNA evidence from the victim's tampon and condom wrapper were inconclusive and there were only "trace" amounts of semen.
Reid faces the possibility of a life sentence. He remains in custody until sentencing on December 5th.
