It's blockbuster season in the adult film world as studios prepare their big budget movies for release in hopes of winning the coveted AVN award for best film, and Wicked's Fallen will be serious competition with its superb sex scenes, strong storyline and high cinematic quality.

The movie itself is over 2.5 hours long, with three more discs of content, including special features, bonus features and a sampler disc. The packaging is impressive and alluring (pictured), with silky white feathers just inside the main box. Those feathers will be put to good use. Fallen starts out with a montage of Catholic-symbolic imagery and clips of our angel, Jessica Drake, but we almost immediately cut to Jenna Haze and Brad Armstrong getting it on mortal-style. The couple kisses and moves through various positions with Jenna Haze being quite vocal. I enjoyed this scene, but it's not my favorite, as the movie is just warming up. I've said this before and I'll say it again: Is there a big budget porn flick out this year that doesn't include the talented Ms. Haze?
I don't want to give too much of the plot away, as it merits your viewing, but I will say that the next sex scene, an orgy, definitely changed my opinion of Jessica Drake as just another feature girl. The orgy consists of Jada Fire, Lana Croft, Michelle McLarren, Ryder Skye, Brad Armstrong, Derrick Pierce, Barry Scott, Eric Masterson, Sean Stylez, and of course, Jessica Drake. Jessica Drake and Lana Croft are both double-penetrated and Michelle McLarren takes some intense b/g doggy-style anal. But what really impressed me occurs at the end of the orgy. Yet, the film doesn't end here. There is an actual closure to the storyline, which I won't spoil. Overall, this is a well-made adult film that has both intense sex scenes and a compelling plot. An attractive female and male cast, great sets and costumes, solid acting and Francois Clousot's camera work and art direction add something special to Wicked's latest film. Jennifer Dark looks like a supermodel and performs like a sex-starved nympho. Her energy is so intense, even Tommy Gunn and Marcus London have trouble keeping up! Our star, Jessica Drake, who has the most difficult role in the film, comes through beautifully. I fully expect Fallen to receive several AVN nods.
